Local factors such as dental calculus, food residue stuck between teeth, incompatible prosthetic restoration, and systemic hormonal changes play role in etiology these hyperplasia. According clinic, radiographic histopathological features, diagnosis made pyogenic granuloma (four cases; 40%), peripheral ossifying fibroma (three 30%), traumatic (two 20%) giant cell (one case; 10%).
Conclusion: It concluded case series mostly caused by local factors. clinical observed nodular mass, soft, smooth-surfaced. detected most lesions.

متن کاملLipoma in Oral Mucosa: Two Case Reports
Lipoma is a common tumor of soft tissue. Its location on the oral mucosa is rare, representing 1% to 5% of benign oral tumors although it is the most mesenchymal tumor of the trunk and proximal por-tions of extremities. Lipoma of the oral cavity may occur in any region. The buccal mucosa, tongue, and floor of the mouth are among the common locations. The clinical presentation is typically as an...

CaN19, a member of the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins, Is known to be “underexpressed― in cultured breast carcinoma-derived cell lines relative to their normal counterparts By Northern blotting, we confirm these results and find that CaN19 is also markedly “underexpressed― in several carcinoma-derived cell lines of the skin, oral mucosa, and urogenital tract. متن کاملLichenoid reaction to carbamazepine in the oral mucosa: case report.
Lichenoid drug reactions are more common in skin, but they may also occur in the oral mucosa. It is difficult to diagnose these lesions due to their clinical similarity to the idiopathic oral lichen planus lesions. The present article reports a case of lichenoid reaction in oral mucosa associated to the use of carbamazepine, emphasizing the diagnostic process.
متن کاملExpression of p63 in Reactive Hyperplasias and Malignant Lymphomas
p63 is a recently described p53 homologue. It is involved in survival and differentiation of reserve/stem cells in epithelia. To obtain new insights into the role of p63 in malignant lymphomas (MLs), immunohistochemical staining for p63 and p53 was performed in 126 cases of MLs. p63 was expressed in 38 cases of MLs (30.2%) including 32/61 cases (52.5%) of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), ...
